Why SEEN?

Too many children with special needs grow up overlooked. Their gifts go unnoticed, and their families often carry the load alone. SEEN exists so these children are noticed, valued and given real chances to shine, and so the grown-ups who love them feel confident and supported.

  • SeenEvery child has a name, a story and gifts worth finding.
  • SupportedFamilies get practical help and a community that shows up.
  • SkilledChildren and carers learn things they can use every day.
  • SafeCalm spaces, kind people and careful use of technology.

AI for parents & carers

Artificial intelligence is already in our phones, schools and homes. Our free, friendly sessions help parents and carers of children with special educational needs understand AI, use it well and keep their children safe. No technical knowledge needed. Bring your questions and a cup of tea.

  • What AI is, in plain everyday language
  • Helpful AI tools for routines, communication and learning at home
  • Keeping children safe online and spotting risks
  • Using AI to prepare for school meetings, EHCP reviews and letters
  • Questions to ask about AI your child meets at school
  • Looking after your own time and wellbeing as a carer
Want to join the next session, or host one at your school or group? Email hello@seencentre.org and we will let you know the next date.
